The Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) conceived setting up the Army Institute of management & Technolgy (AIMT), Greater NOIDA as a premier Institute for imparting Management Education in the NCR for value based education and to develop the required skill-sets in the students who are already endowed with strong character traits and soft skill because of their Army background.

The Institute was established on a sprawlong 15.34 acres campus , in August 2004 and is entirely financed from the welfare funds of the Indian Army. Being a non-Profit seeking organization, the emphasis is on quality education and development of necessary managerial skills in the Students, thus equipping them to brave the challenges of the corporate world.

The management of AIMT Greater Noida is committed to the recruitment and retention of a strong, capable and motivated faculty in relevant disciplines which is capable of meaningful interaction with the industry and corporate sector both within and outside the NCR to provide an insight into management theories at work so as to leverage good placement opportunities for the participants.
