AIMT is a management institute with a difference in Greater Noida. First and foremost, it is fully owned, funded and managed by the Army as a welfare project targeting the children of Army personnel. Second, it is affiliated to the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Delhi and NOT the UPTU as is the case with other institutes in Greater Noida. Thirdly, it is located near the AWHO complex in the Builders Area and not in the Knowledge Park housing all other institutes. Lastly, it lays adequate emphasis on developing employability skills which are a pre-requisite for securing jobs in the highly competitive corporate world.

The institute, which is now in its seventh year of operation, has a world class infrastructure in a green & sprawling 15.34 acres campus with all the amenities required in an active campus. The faculty has rich academic experience and the institute has sufficient industry linkages to provide the students adequate insight into the corporate world. The placement record of the institute has been better than average for the five batches that have passed out so far.
